Connect WordPress

Publish to WordPress with an application password. No plugin needed.

Create an application password

  1. In your WordPress admin, open Users → Profile.
  2. Scroll to Application Passwords.
  3. Type Postiplex as the name and choose Add New Application Password.
  4. Copy the password WordPress shows. It's only shown once.

Connect it in Postiplex

  1. Open Integrations → Blog → WordPress.
  2. Enter your site address, your WordPress username and the application password.
  3. Choose Connect.
  4. In Settings → Blog, pick the default category, author and whether articles publish live or as drafts.

If your host has a firewall or security plugin, it may need to allow requests to the WordPress REST API.
