Your own site and your own accounts. Nothing is hosted here.

Everything Postiplex makes is published where you already are: your blog, your social accounts, your YouTube channel, your podcast feed. Here is what each connection needs and what it can do.

Blog platforms

One of the three, connected once.

  • WordPress

An application password on an account that can publish. Posts go through the REST API; images are uploaded to your media library and named after what they show.

Any host. Sites that block datacentre visitors still work: the scan retries through an unblocking proxy.

  • Shopify

A custom app you create in the Dev Dashboard with read and write content scopes. Postiplex mints a short-lived token from its client credentials and renews it.

The store's myshopify address. The write_files scope lets images land in your Files; without it they are served from our storage.

    Setup guide
  • Any site, by webhook

A signed request to an address your developer sets up, with the article's title, HTML, images, tags and metadata. Your site decides how to store it.

One endpoint and a shared secret. The docs have the payload and a verification example.

Fourteen social channels

Each connects through its own sign-in screen and gets its own post, written for that channel. TikTok and YouTube take the video.

  • LinkedIntext + image
  • Threadstext + image

Setup for each channel is in the help docs.

And the rest

  • Search Console and Analytics

Read-only, through Google's sign-in, so the Blog tab in Analytics can show your articles' clicks and impressions.

  • Podcast directories

Spotify, Apple, Amazon Music and iHeartRadio take a one-time paste of your feed address; Podcast Index is submitted for you.

Questions

Do you store my passwords?

No. Social channels connect through each platform's own sign-in and we keep the token it issues. WordPress uses an application password you create; Shopify a custom app with limited scopes. Revoke any of them from the platform at any time.

What happens if a connection breaks?

The affected step pauses and the dashboard shows what to reconnect. Everything else keeps running; a blog connection that is down holds the article until it is fixed.

Can I connect the same channel for two websites?

Each website on your account has its own connections, so yes, and each website posts its own articles there.

Which social publishing service do you use?

A publishing partner that holds the platform tokens and sends the posts; Tumblr is sent directly. Posts are confirmed with the platform after sending, so a refusal never reads as posted.
