Connect Shopify

Publish to your store's blog through an app you create in Shopify's Dev Dashboard. It takes about three minutes.

Create the app in Shopify

  1. In your Shopify admin, open Settings → Apps → Develop apps → Build apps in Dev Dashboard.
  2. Choose Create app → Create app manually and give it a name, such as Postiplex.
  3. Give it the scopes read_content, write_content and write_files (write_files lets the article's images be stored in your own Shopify Files). Leave the other fields as they are.
  4. On the app's Overview tab, choose Install app on your store.
  5. On the Settings tab, copy the Client ID and Client secret.

Connect it in Postiplex

  1. Open Integrations → Blog → Shopify blog.
  2. Enter your store address: the .myshopify.com one from Settings → Domains, not your custom domain.
  3. Paste the Client ID and Client secret and choose Connect.
  4. Pick which of your store's blogs articles publish to.
