How a week runs

What happens between a planned topic and a published article, and when.

The timeline

  1. Planning: two months are always planned. On the 1st of each month, the month after next is researched and added to the calendar.
  2. Writing: about a day before posting time, the article, its images and its social posts are created.
  3. Heads-up email: you get one email showing the article and every social post that will go out, each with a link to edit it on the calendar. You don't need to reply: with no changes, everything goes out as written. Turn it off in Settings → Blog → Heads-up email (articles are then written about 8 hours before posting time).
  4. Podcast and video: the episode is recorded next, then the YouTube video if a channel is connected.
  5. Publishing: the article goes live on your blog at your posting time.
  6. Socials: posts go out to each connected channel shortly after.

The article never waits for the podcast or video. If either isn't ready, the article still publishes on time.
